The Untelevised Celebrity Rehab Reunion
Celebrity Rehab took more than its share of heat during its six seasons on the air. The issues it dealt with were not pretty and when anyone who’d been on the show died—along with the 200,000-odd others who lose their battles with addiction every year—the show was blamed. The deaths of Jeff Conaway, Mike Starr, Joey Kovar and Mindy McCready were indeed tragic but the public at large seemed unwilling to look at the real issues. The tragedy, in other words, was not about a television show that once-famous folks appeared on during the later days of their respective struggles. The tragedy is that addiction takes so many lives.
Alison Triessel: Nominated for Los Angeles Business Journal Award
Alison Triessel Co-founder of The Pasadena Recovery Center, was just nominated for Los Angeles Business Journals annnual “Women Making A Difference” awards. She attended the luncheon event with her husband attorney Michael Triessl, her mother Tobie Bloom and her brother Michael Bloom, this afternoon at the JW Marriott downtown.
Alison was nominated for her leadership of PRC and for founding Wild About Trial website and app.

Mike Bloom will speak on a guest panel at AGBU Manoukian High School in Pasadena, to students on Tuesday October 23rd and to Parents on Thursday Oct 25th.
Mike also will be speaking at his alma-mater, Round Meadow Elementary in Calabasas on Wednesday October 24th
